Manaslu Circuit Trek
is for those people who wish to go for adventure explore but cannot do so due to lack of time. We have devised Manaslu circuit trekking as 15-days itinerary. You can walk through most of the wonders of Manaslu region in just 15days. Major highlights of Manaslu Circuit Trek include walking nearby the border of Nepal- Tibet, passing through several culturally rich highland villages, paying our respect in monasteries, having Himalayan wildlife view in the dense forest, walking along roaring Budhi Gandaki River, strolling along the banks of Machhaa Khola and Sati Khola and enjoying the views of Manaslu and Hiunchuli Mountains. We will climb to Larkya La Pass which is the highest pass of Manaslu Region.
Manaslu circuit trek is relatively less busy trail offering you the experience in off the beaten route through remote settlements. The number of tea houses is increasing since its popularity began to expand because of its spectacular mountain vistas, beautiful natural sceneries, remote and original taste, the Larkya La Pass of 5,100 m altitude, and several dense forests, streams, rivers, and suspension bridges. This is relatively an underrated trek in comparison to the Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp, which is also the reason to opt for this trek before any other trekking destinations.
Get ready to get into wild wandering through remote routes, staying at several teahouses. You will not have to catch any domestic flight to complete this trek. This trek is a complete package of experiences in the subtropical forest, gentle climb and strenuous ascent and descent of Larkya La Pass. You will be crossing Budhi Gandaki and its tributaries via lots of suspension bridges. You will not be able to make this trek alone; the Government of Nepal has prohibited solo traveling in this region. You must be traveling in a group of at least two members, and compulsorily be with a guide.
Despite its coverage via remote trails, this trek does not require you to have any athletic body fitness. If you do not have any problem related to ankles and knees and can endure long duration of walking throughout the trekking period, you can go for this trek. Mostly you will be walking on mountain trails, and as you ascend the altitude, you might feel dizziness and nausea due to altitude sickness. But proper acclimatization, going slowly and steady taking sufficient rest, paying attention to personal hygiene, and drinking plenty of water can help you a lot in adapting to the changing situations.
Due to increasing number of teahouses, you might not have any difficulty for accommodation. But, sometimes, especially during the busy season, you will have to pre-book a room at Dharmasala. Otherwise, you might end up staying in a tent, as there's no any human settlement nearby. Your trek shall start from a drive to Soti Khola from Kathmandu. Via Machha Khola, Jagat, Filim, Deng, Namru, you shall reach to Sama Gaun and spend an extra day there for acclimatization to prepare you for crossing the highest point of this trek—the Larkya La Pass. Trekking from Dharmasala to Bimthang via Larkya La Pass is strenuous, and probably the most challenging journey in the entire trek. You shall return back to Kathmandu on the 13th day via a ride from Dharapani.
Further, we can tailor this itinerary as per the need and requirement of your holiday time and your personal preferences. And provided the potential group members agree on such customized schedule, we will be following your preferences.
